FOOD MOMENT INFORMATION

Uploading Food Moments is a great way to share your passion for food and earn more points. To upload a Food Moment, you follow three simple steps:

  • Upload a photo
  • Add a comment
  • Specify the location

You can upload Food Moments in two different ways:

  1. Upload a Food Moment to your profile: this Food Moment will become a part of your personal Food Story. You and your friends will be able to see the Food Moment on your profile and the statistics will be included in your foodie dashboard report. Other users will be able to rate your Food Moment with up to five Fine Dining or five Casual Dining likes. Food Moments can be also shared on Facebook.
  2. Upload a Food Moment to fulfil a Food Challenge task: if you have started or joined a Food Challenge, you can fulfil the challenge tasks by uploading a relevant Food Moment. You will complete the whole Food Challenge when you have uploaded the right number of Food Moments. These Food Moments will also become part of your Food Story and foodie dashboard report and can be rated by other users. These Food Moments can be rated on Facebook as well.

    Galardonan a Can Roquet de Romanyà de la Selva con el Plato de Oro Donald de Ridder y Kenn Van Roy se han hecho merecedores del prestigioso premio de la Gastronomía Nacional Donald de Ridder y Kenn Van Roy han sido galardonados con el prestigio Plato de Oro de la Gastronomía Nacional, por sus méritos contraídos con una culinaria muy bien ejecutada en un bello rincón de Romanyà de la Selva, en las comarcas gerundenses, logrando con su incesante y cuidadoso trabajo entre fogones, un reconocimiento que les ha situado en lo más alto del podium restaurador catalán. Creatividad y arte Can Roquet demuestra, claramente, que su gastronomía es una de las mejores que se elaboran actualmente en las comarcas de Cataluña. Creatividad, arte, inteligencia y sabiduría se conjugan satisfactoriamente. Tanto las carnes como otros ingredientes de proximidad que se emplean en sus fogones, tienen un certificado oficinal de calidad contrastada. La culinaria se sostine sobre unos platos tradicionales catalanes-franceses fusionados, y con estilo propio. Las estrellas en la guía Michelin y los soles en la REPSOL, deben llegar a no tardar. Méritos no les faltan. Platos y sabores Algunas de las recomendaciones de Can Roquet pasan por el carpacio de higos con jamón ibérico, el estofado de jabalí, los calamares de potera con alcachofas, las anchoas con pan&tomate, la ensalada de bacalao con guisantes del Maresme y alcachofas, el bacalao confitado a 50º con cocochas de bacalao y parmentier de patata, el filete de rodaballo con favetas a la catalana, el carpaccio de gamba roja de Palamós, el pulpo con parmentier de patata (ligeramente ahumado), el hueso de tuétano con steak tartare y tostaditas, y el tàrtar de salmón. Masía del siglo XVII Donald de Ridder y Kenn Van Roy, originarios de Bélgica, llegaron en las comarcas de Barcelona, hace unos 20 años. Después de una década decorando locales y casas en Barcelona y cercanías, decidieron instalarse en Romanyà de la Selva. En una masía del siglo XVII, llevaron a cabo su obra más carismática; un restaurante con toda su personalidad, estilo y dedicación, donde fundir en uno la vena artística y la inquietud por la cocina, Can Roquet. Desde entonces, su consolidación ha sido un hecho incostentable.
