Jahari was certified as a Raw Foods Vegan Chef by Dr Ann Wigmore, Founder of the Hippocrates Health Institute where she witnessed people from all over the world, in record time, being successfully treated of numerous ailments by simply changing to a raw vegan diet. Food was the medicine. She also studied with Dr Alvenia Fulton at the Naturopathic Doctor’s clinic in Chicago, international Raw Foods Master Chef, Dr Aris LaTham, and with John Chissell, M.D., author of Pyramids of Power: An Ancient African-centered Approach to Optimal Health. Her tutelage also included working directly with the progressive medical doctor William Pawluk. Jahari has provided years of service researching and reporting the latest evidence-based, scientific information to a broad community. Turning her attention to producing and hosting radio health talk shows in Baltimore, Maryland, Dr Chissell joined her as co-host on the shows Healthline 2000 and Healthline 2010. She then shared on-air the Conscious Health Snacks, weekly vignettes for healthy living. A focused teacher of the healing arts and proponent of using the power of “food as medicine,” her competencies include: Health Coach, Massage Therapist, Holistic Practitioner and Gourmet Raw Vegan Chef.
